REDcert

The REDcert EU-system offers the opportunity for sustainability certifications of biomass, bioliquids and biofuels. The geographical focus of activity for this certification is Europe.  

This certification system is relevant for economic operators in all different phases of production:

• production of input materials
• collection of input materials
• processing of raw materials
• collection of waste and residues (biomass)
• production of bioliquids and biofuels

The certification under REDcert² offers reliable and efficient sustainability certification of biomass for use in the food and animal food industry. 

The certification under REDcert² Chemicals offers verification of sustainable biomass for material use as well as material purposes for the chemical industry.
